Unless they move Some Visa officers from Guatemala to Mexico or increase the the Mexico City Staff , Otherwise the processing time will increase for sure, but less than 25 months. Still good news

it's a total 10 months processing Time. I hope the file didn't get transfer to Colombia just now. Usually a file get tranfer to the passport office right after the sponsorship approval. you should access ecase to see what the update on you file the the reference number they Gave you.

We don't have enough people using the Guatemala Visa Office on this Forum to use a time Frame. It's Very Hard to know how long know how long it takes Guatemala to Return Passport. Base on the users here I seen from 1 Week To about 6 months. I Hope we all get an answer soon ...

Sorry I wanted to say and Extra 10 months was added to some Visa Offices. From 5 months to 15 months, it must be hard to swallow

That's Pretty Fast, My Wife sent her Passport with additional Documents in Mid August. We home to get something back very Shortly.

Base on the email they sent back, it seems like your wife received the sponsor Approval letter ( Step 1) I don't understand why would they ask for the passport when the file wasn't transfer to the VO yet.
