thats a great news. if they have requested and the passport and the CSQ then they are almost done the application final review. means in process to issue the visa and everything else is complete . hope this help. and congrats in advance . your almost there.

they have to send it back along with the passport. thats what they did with me. send them an email requesting them back.

good then here you go you are in the final step .and they ask for the extension so for the visa issuance

in my case they requested my passport and then they asked me for the copy of CSQ.but I believe you should receive the passport request very soon.

well as i assume. i would think that when they have backlog of files. they send the straightforward files to Ottawa to reduce the pressure on the embassy.. i am not sure why they return it to Cairo though. Anyway nothing to worry about, your file is in the right place anyways. The best of luck.

yes the security check comes at the end of the process . and then when its clear they ask for the passport to stamp the visa on. No one knows how long the security check takes. might take one month up to few months depends on your travel history and military service if u have been to any. for...
