Really? Because when I landed the immigration worker stated that I couldn't use this to travel on a plane. Then I did some research and it seems like I can't travel commercially. The wording makes it seem that returning is what they are concerned with, not leaving...

Hi all, I just landed a few weeks ago and I am planning on getting a job that would require a lot of travel. I know I can't travel commercially (via plane, etc) until I get my PR card. However I assume I can still travel by car to the US and then fly out of Buffalo correct? I'm a US citizen.

My application went straight to Ottawa. My Timeline: Application Recieved: Jan 7th Sponsorship approved: Early Feb\ (Long bout of nothingness) PPR: July 7 Asked for updated financials: July 10th "In Progress": July 12th Decision Made: August 15th that's it, you should be soon!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got decision made on the 15th! I still don't have my COPR yet, I'm hoping for tomorrow!

Oh wow! A full ride to Drexel! Congrats! I always wanted to got here but it was crazy expensive and I was a nerdy non-athlete.

I should have done inland as well, however just last year Outland was so much faster. I think closing the Buffalo office (with experienced ppl) and opening the Ottawa office (with no experience) really skewed things.

We sent: -Updated Tax forms (both of us) -Hubby letter of employment -Interview offer letter for me I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I hope they get back to me tomorrow, it's coming on 2 weeks with no response.

I got that 2 weeks ago as well. Did you submit late last year with you 2011 tax forms? Yeah now they want an update, despite our sponsors already being approved to support us ><. I sent it in over a week ago, still no reply.
