After decision made, PPR will follow. But in this case, they are not yet requesting the original passports. Maybe you were right that they are verifying the passport details. I received a different format of passport request letter since i came from visa-required country. I will assume that you are from a visa-exempt country and CIC just need the details of your parents/dependents passport details. If that's that case, i think it would be better to send a photocopy...

Based on the email you received from CIC, it says further medical info is required, there must be lacking info even after final xray. It may be another test or need some medicines. I can only guess. You need to call asap the panel physician what to do next. Btw, why did they require for sputum...

Did you do upfront medical? If yes, you have to email the receipt to CIC. If it is not upfront, no need to email anything.

After landing and submitting the COPR to immigration officer (IO) which will be signed by the applicant in front of the IO, you just have to wait for the PR card to be mailed in 6-8 weeks.

If you will check the spreadsheet, we have a member named Notley and iateapple whose files were processed in London, got PPR in 10 days from Decision Made status. So far, those are the only data that we have but most likely you'll get your parents PPR more or less the same period.

It's really hard to understand how they process our applications. Sometimes it's predictable but there are also times that they aren't. Let's just hope that your visa officer will wake up one day and realized that your file is on his lap waiting to be touched.
