Ditto here has well. check my eCAS status online today and now shows two lines. When I click on either of them it shows we received your application on March 16 2008.

An update from my last post, it appears that the CIC website has finally updated. Up until last week it was showing that Sponsorship was "Application Received". As of this morning it is also showing "Application Received" for Permanent Residence. The oddity is that there is no decision made...

Thanks for the quick response. After reviewing some of the documents on the CIC website, it states that notarized documents in lieu of the marriage certificate would not be accepted. At this time just going to write the letter and explain the circumstances and hope for the best. Thanks
