Yes I belive so Maham that they are sending generic PPR letters and they probably asked to you to send after medical cuz it takes them time to receive medical and they dont wanna block your passport for too long as its grounds you within the country... I personally know people who have sent...

In your case re meds were sent simultaneously so it takes them time to send it to New Dehli and then it takes time for New Dehli to update.. Once they will update medical, only then will they stamp the visa... I hope and pray that your meds are taken care of soon and passport received back with...

My guess is you will InshahAllah get it back by the end of this week i.e. by Saturday :)

mapleaves, when did you get your meds done? If your meds have been received by CHC Islamabad then you can expect your passport back in 10 days.. I sent mine on 22nd Feb and I got my PP back on 3rd march Alhumdulilah :)

Alhumdulilah I recieved my passport with visa today in 10 days:) However, like Muzammil address on CoPR for hubby is old one and he shifted and updated with CIC Canada but I guess it wasnt updated in CHC Islamabad... My concern is, is it going to be a problem? I dont want it to go back and...

My file was recieved in Isl in July 2010... I got my re-med and pending marriage consumation in May 2011... We sent ruksati pics etc by July-Aug 2011... Then finally got passport request dated 9 Feb 2011... Was in USA so came back with the PP and submitted the same on 22 Feb and now counting days :)

I am wondering, I have sent my Passport on Feb 22, recieved on Feb 23 by CIC Isb... Will my application status online change as soon as they make a decision? cuz it still says in Progress :(

and yeah, the letter had a hand written date of Feb 9, 2012 and it was delivered at my home in Khi on Feb 12, 2012... this was the first quick delivery otherwise i usually got correspondence almost 10 days after the letter date
