    Foreign Service - Strike?

? Really? But how? If for example, there are only two immigration officers working at an embassy, those officers would be working on the most urgent visas (visitor, student and work visas), right? Then, who takes care of authorizing spousal sponsorship applications?

Yes, on twitter. Check Clement´s account or Pafso´s account. Actually, PAFSO only got back to him once, the other twits are between Clement and regular people who question him about the government´s actions on this matter.

    Foreign Service - Strike?

I wonder if with their current salaries, PAFSO immigration officers can make an ok living in expensive cities like Tokyo? I´m sure that a high diplomat doesn´t have any problems with what they get paid plus their housing benefits but I suspect it is totally different for a unionized employee...

I wonder if anyone here has seen today the battle of twits between Mr. Clement and PAFSO? Utterly ridiculous, especially Mr. Clement, who comes across as a bit unprofessional and disrespectful for my taste... all in all, a baffling situation...

Hi guys, I wonder if there are any updates on the strike? I delivered my PGR police record two Fridays ago and its validity expires on June 27th. What might happen if they retake our file past that date because of the strike? Do you think they might dare to ask us to get a new one?! ???
