    Inland Application 2011

This whole process is frickin bull$%&t. After getting decision made over 4 months ago and then being caught up in a bunch of 'computer glitches' and office closures I'm now apparently looking at another 9 month wait to land. So beyond frustrated - they've made us lose $17K, it's been an huge...

    Inland Application 2011

Looking back at Tecle's posts - it seems he did get first stage approval back in November. From memory there were 4 or 5 July 2011 applicants that got first stage approval back in Oct/Nov - not too sure what happened there

grcan - where will you be landning? It is possible that you could get Decision Made while you are away, but then some offices have up to a 3 month wait after DM to schedule your landing interview

Anybody knows why "CIC" haven't updated their progress for more than two months?

The chart is updated by Johanna on the 2011 thread https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnT5cvUy612BdEMwdm1RODl4Qmh0Q0x1aUdod194ZFE

So you didn't actually go for a landing interview? If not, I would probably call CIC on that one and see what's going on. But for the sounds of it you are all done, so there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

    Inland Application 2011

I feel your pain! I received Decision Made on February 7, 2012 and since then – nothing. I’ve recently found out, through my MP, it’s because of the budget cuts and the fact that CIC have closed my local office in Victoria, BC. Because there is currently no ‘policy’ in place as what to do with...

the budget cuts cause CLOSURE of the IMM & VISA SERVICES in some embassies

They closed local offices in Canada as well. They closed both on Vancouver Island in BC and that has so far delayed my 'landing' by 3 months. There is still no policy in place as to what to do with Vancouver Island people yet, so even though my application has been completed with decision made...

    Inland app Decision Made

Congratulations! Thank is such exciting news for you, finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Bet you will celebrate that day!! Sadly still nothing on my end. According to my MP, the Victoria office did have my file for about 2 weeks, as they thought they would be able to process it, but they...

    Inland app Decision Made

Hey! Nope nothing on my end yet either. I contacted my MP and she was told that my file is on 'hold' due to budget cuts and the government shutting down the CIC Victoria office. Apparently there is no policy in place as yet on what to do with the Vancouver Island people, whether they are going...

Applying for OWP with my PR application - extend my stay until....?

I'm assuming this is for inland. If so, just put a date from when you intend to send your application off, plus the max processing time (currently 19 months), plus about 2 months for landing. So if sending this week put end of Jan 2014 as the date, or if your passport expiry date is before then...

    Inland Application 2011

Hi all – just wondering if someone who has received FOSS notes can help me, as I am just wondering what they should look like. My problem is: I filled out form IMM5563, checking that I would like information via ‘E-mail' and my request was for ‘FOSS electronic notes (information in Canada)', I...

Tell me about it - and they don't really even apologize. All I got was "I understand". I got decision made on Feb 7, 2012. Since then I have made phone calls every week following up and here is what I found. They lost my file for about a month. Vegreville said they sent it to my local office...

    Inland Application 2011

Definitely get it done in April. Then all you need to do is send a copy of the details page from the new passport to Vegreville. Put the copy in an envelope with both the applicant and sponsor names, date application was received at Vegreville and client ID (if you have one). The write “Time...
