Do we need to carry photographs while making the initial landing? I understand that the PR card has a photo affixed to it and for people who are landing initially the PR card will be applied at the airport. So I was wondering where the photograph comes from as I did not find it in the new comers...

Hi Sam, I have a few colleagues who are from Halifax. They say it is a windy and moderate size city. People are friendly and laid back when compared to cities in the US. Rental aparments are mostly old building and won't have modern facilities like dish washer and stuff.

I have got my PR visa. How soon can I start working in Canada after my initial entry? Do I need to wait for the PR card to arrive? or can I start working after the next day of landing.
