Hi guys, I just had my interview for the Nexus card. I was just trying to find out if I need an ESTA when travelling to the US??? I have a German passport, a Canadian PR.... but I couldn't find out if with all this I still need an ESTA to travel to the US. Thanks in advance and cheers, Christian

I never had to send in my passport. Being a German citizen, Germany is a visa exempt country, I just had to go to a port of entry with my passport and documents.

I did my landing there yesterday. It was easy and all done within 20 minutes.

And when I come back to Canada, do I take the line for visitors and visa holders or the line for citizens and PRs???

That's exactly what I'll do now. The reason for going to a port of entry tomorrow and get it all done was just to get the industrial fishing license, which requires to be a PR. It's all about earning some extra money... ;)
