Thank you, smallkick! One more question here: do you have one reference letter that is confirmed by both direct supervisor and HR? (like sending an email to HR and cc to direct supervisor) or, do you have two separate letters?

That is very nice! Actually I copied the exact sentences of reference letter specifications to the employers, but some HR people still missed some points. I intend to do the same way. However, would the HR person be happy about us filling the letter draft by ourselves?

Just highlighted the name of the employers, "Please note" "Letters must include all of the following information", "The letters must be" (as shown in my post) I wonder whether they did not check the employment contract?? because lots of details are shown in the contract.

Re: An email related to CIC I began to worry about mine. My cc was cashed on Feb.23, but I have not been "in process" or received any confirmation. How long did you guys find "in process" after the cc was cashed?

Except those said by TyrusX, I also photocopied the Employment of Record. It is a very thin paper filled & sent by a employer in Canada, showing the work period and total salary.

My application reached the CIO office on Jan. 30, and my credit card was cashed on Feb.21. :) But I have not received any confirmation email yet.

My package was received by CIO this morning. Anyone know how long to wait to receive the confirmation email ? Thank you. cross my fingers....
