I am 100% sure all Jan 2 Applications will be accepted. Do not worry about time. Last year Applications reached on Jan 21 made the cutoff.

All applications reached on or before 10 Jan will make the cutoff. That's my prediction. So don't worry if your application reached CIC Mississauga on or before 10 Jan.

Last year I send my application through Canada Post. The tracking system showed Out for Delivery on 6th Jan and after that it was never updated as delivered until Jan 08 When I received file number from CIC it stated that Application was received on Jan 06. To summarize what you said is 100%...

I predicted on Jan 27, that applications reached by 20 Jan will be within 5000 cap. They announced on Feb 3 that cap has been reached but did not mentioned date when it was reached. Most probably it was reached on 21 Jan.

Hi mzm26, The address is correct. What I suggest is to call CIC and give your UIC#. They will be able to give you status of your application. I called them on 15th Jan and they informed that my application was deemed complete. My CC was charged on 21 Jan.
