I sent Postal Application to BLS and it was received last Tuesday (Nov 16). No updates in their system as of today. Is this something normal? or do I have to start assuming that my application is incomplete?

I found it easy. I read Discover Canada (and heard it as well). Did some test questions the night before exam (just searched "canadian citizenship test" in Google). That's it.

How long did it take at the test center? I mean total time for test and interview incl waiting time

Just to avoid further delays, it is better to send fresh set of transcripts are required (unless they mention somewhere that they have opened transcripts and you don't need to send fresh ones)

I too had a similar travel pattern (the place being London). I did not enter it as separate destination but I explained in "Reason". I don't think it makes any difference either way but I can only keep my fingers crossed for now.
