Just got landing letter for 9 July My wife has no passport - it is being renewed at Ozzy consulate - is it worth going to Etobicoke? Or just send them a letter and ask to postpone?

My wife application was received Dec 2, 2016, medicals by invitation Nov 2017, OWP approved Apr 11, 2018 as she was out of status. Otherwise Sponsorshi p is still “inprocess” according to ECAS.

Did you have to go to Immigration office at all ?

Dec 2, 2016 applicants here. My wife received a letter that her OWP was approved on April 11, she was out of status since Nov’16. They also sent new approved ETA even thou she did not apply for one and her old one was still valid. On ECAS there are no changed - Sponsorship is “in process”

Just got an email from cic that open work permit application has a new message. It reads: “your application to stay in canada as a temporary resident has been approved. Your permit has been mailed” My wife who applied on Dec2,16 was out of status and her ecas still has “in process” on sponsor side.

"in process" is under Sponsorship not Permanent Residence - according to your there posts it is still waiting SA do you know how long it can be "in process" for sponsorshipp by any chance?

Have not seen AIP letter in email - do they send it by snail mail? Also this letter is required to apply for OHIP - correct? My wife was out of status with OWP applied for 13 months ago

just checked application status: under Sponsorship Application Status it changed from "Application Received" to "In Process"
