    APRIL 2015 applicants

Hey everyone, So I'm not sure if I missed something, I'm not complaining, but I am a little shocked. I received my AOR back on 2015-06-09. I've been waiting and waiting for my "In Process" email to come through, guessing that it would come any day now given that 40 something days had passed...

    April 2015 citizenship Applicants

Hey All, Just dropped my application off at Canada Post this afternoon. Let the waiting games begin eh? Really awesome to see so many people getting their AOR's so quickly? I think I saw one person claim 10 days from app received to AOR sent. WOW! The guys from last year must be seeing these...

Nico, I'm in the exact same boat as yourself. No need to send in the actual passport. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but why is this the case? Does anyone know? I need to hold onto my passport in case I don't get my passport back within 5 weeks. And then what? Perhaps they just send us...

Mailing a copy of my passport to Detroit

Hello, I've just received my PPR from Immigration. They're requesting my passport be sent to the Detroit office. The email clearly states, that if you're from a country in which you do not require a visa to enter, then you can send in a copy of your passport, and not the passport itself. I'm...

I JUST GOT PPR!!!!! I'm so excited. I received the email about 30 minutes ago. So RELIEVED!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH.... Thankfully, as an Australian it states that I don't need to submit my passport, rather just a copy of it. My current visa expires on August 13th, so I need to hold onto it in case I...

CONGRATULATIONS. Well done. You have me really excited now as I've been behind you guys by around 10 days this whole time. Hopefully I get PPR shortly too. Question about PPR... What happens now? Do you need to cross the border if you don't mail it in? I'm thinking I would need to mail (when/if...

Just logged online and notice that my status is now at 'Medicals Received'. Not sure of the exact date for this as I haven't been checking in frequently, but it's a good sign. I see some of the December applicants are finally getting PPR's. Hopefully we're not too far now. I've also been...

All January and February 2012 Applicants

Hey, I went digging around in other forums (December applicants, November... and so on). With the exception of a few people who are still waiting, those who continued to post their stats averaged about 7 weeks. (That's a very broad average too) Unfortunately, there's also A LOT of people who's...

I'm so sorry for the late response. I thought I was getting emails everytime someone posted in here and clearly that's not happening. To answer your question, none of the above. It plain and simply said "As part of the residency application process, please do your medicals. blah blah blah. 3...

Which method are you using to apply for residency? The Canadian Experience Class has only been around for a few years, and even their website states 15 months is the average processing time (which I'm sure is over stated to lower expectations of applicants) The CEC wasn't around in 2006.

Great news.... Today I had my medicals done and earlier this morning I got a reply from Ottawa stating that there was no need for me to re-submit the drivers license extract as the email was sent in error. I'm kinda surprised that they missed a 4 page document in my application, but...

Not worried and nothing on my records. Just timing. My current WHP visa expires in August and I'm currently sending off paper work to have it renewed (just in case). If I can save a few dollars I will. With that said, it still doesn't explain why they are requesting something I've already sent...

I woke up to an email addressed from Ottawa, was sooooo excited... However it's a request for me to submit my drivers license extract. Victoria, Australia.. we need to submit an extract showing every traffic offense since age 18. Thing is, I DID. I was so meticulous when filling out the paper...
