Was just searching for the tracking page that was created on this section, and can't find it! I am just wondering what the average turnaround time is, once the passport reaches the embassy, to getting it back in our hands....

Well they sent in the passport with a note included saying that the passport request had been made Oct 9th, and all the contact info etc, as well as the prepaid DHL to return it. The embassy now has the passport, as I Checked thru DHL tracking this morning. The MP's office directed us to do...

When those of you who have submitted the passport, at PPR time, do they forward any info to you that needs to be sent in with the passport? Or did you just send in the passport with the Unique Client ID and a prepaid weigh bill? My mind is just thinking random thoughts until tomorrow! Thanks guys!

I will be calling the MP's office again tomorrow morning, he asked me to call after I had heard from the lawyer. The fella I am dealing with has been great, the MP's immigration guy, as he had sponsored his wife from Belize.

The lawyer emailed back! They have heard NOTHING from the embassy!!!!! rrrrgghhhhh this is beyond frustrating!!!!!

I had posted that we contacted our local MP, since the wait time has now exceeded the expected posted time. When I got home from work today there was a voicemail from his secretary on the phone! We are to call him tomorrow, he says he has an update to the file, lets hope its good news, will post...

Well, we were advised by our immigration lawyer to contact our local MP to make an inquiry to the embassy. We have sent them an email now, and will see if they can find out why the delay....I will keep you posted on here if we get any response!

yep...one year now, this is worse than waiting for a baby.....at least than you know at the end of the nine months the moment is there that you have been waiting for....I just find it so frustrating that they are holding som many peoples futures in their hands and there seems to be no urgency on...

Just sent a case specific enquiry, lets hope they respond, as it has gone passed the regular processing time now. Have any of you received quick responses from them from enquiries you have sent?

There was no reason, completely unexpected. They requested the police checks via email at the same time. Must say having the immigration lawyer made no difference as to getting ti through faster etc...only took care of the filing etc...I am nervous they are now going to come back and say to re...

Exactly what ours says too, this was posted August 16, we are patiently waiting for the PPR!!!! It has been one year total now, it HAS to be any day now......

Is it just me or do any of you find that the news only comes through to the applicants etc on a specific day of the week?? Is there a FB group out there for us patiently waiting....
