I got the same email last Thursday. I got an email from CIC-winnipeg, and also I got the same document on my cic account as well.. and unlike someone stated above, for me they have put the text in bold if I don’t have COPR, I should send two photos with UCI number and name written on the back...

It was my eligibility that was stuck without any progress for years.. last month, they asked a few questions which I’ve answered with all requested documents, and then they approved it today

My AOR is May 04th, 2017 .. CEC inland. Took long time though .. Got PFL on 7th April, 2020 Response submitted on 20th April, 2020 Remedicals and RCMP request on 21st April .. Eligibility cleared on 21st April, Medicals cleared on 19th May PR email on 21st May

Yeah, that’d be better as it got too late .. I’ve taken a lawyers suggestion and sent a set of extra documents to CIC last year, but I haven’t gotten response or updates for that as well..

Ah, same here .. May 4th 2017 and still in background check .. Have you ordered notes or called cic or approached local MP (if you live in Canada )for any updates ??

Not security I guess because whenever I call them, they always say it’s still background check , security hasn’t started yet

Did you get any update/communication from CIC regarding your application or any information from your GCMS if at all you ordered... 2 years is way too much.. I infact stopped checking for months..
