My ecas still remained 'in process' even after my address updated & visa was issued. It only changed to 'decision made' after I'd received my visa. So...congrats! Waiting for the PR card is another story though ::)

Have you tried logging in to e-cas to check the status - https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en? Your sponsor should have a UCI number on the eligibility letter. I would imagine that your file has been transferred to the SA office for processing, and is currently in process there...

My status changed to 'in process' shortly after the file was transferred - I'd say probably two weeks. It changed to 'decision made' a couple of days after I received my COPR.

Whaaa? You can remain on implied status while waiting for the inland application? Is that right? If so, I probably should have gone that route. I was here on a work visa for 2 years, applied for a change of status to a visitor after it expired & sat on implied status for a couple of months in...

Ouch, the processing times for inland applications are ridiculous. I'll cross my fingers for you guys. How long have you lived in Canada? Are you on a work visa or visitor?

Congratulations on the AOR - mine went into "In Process" pretty quickly after the AOR so keep checking! Are you used to all this snow yet?

LANDED! It was very easy and painless - we simply drove down to the border. The officials at the Canadian checkpoint instructed us to drive through to the USA checkpoint, where they issued a form for me to sign (withdrawal of application to enter USA), and turned us back around to the Canadian...

Just called the usual CIC number, waited on hold for a bit, then said I'd like to make an appointment to land. I believe they forward the request to your local office, who will (eventually) contact you to advise the time/date of your appointment.

Bah...it's a 6 week wait to land at the Calgary office! I would drive down to the border, but my licence has expired until I'm a resident. And I can't afford to fly anywhere as I haven't been able to legally work for months. What to do!
