    changes in AOR

I've noticed that the new AORs indicate that your application is complete. The one i got didn't say anything of the nature. It simply had "Acknowledge..." in teh email subject line, had a file number/UCI/ and some generic material. I am a March applicant. Any other applicants with this new format?

    This forum is...stressful.

It's helpful in some cases. for example, when clarifying fact-based inquiries. But often, people speculate and make wild assumptions. Now, I've gone from feeling relatively confident about my application to being fearful and getting ready to pack my bags and go back home. I was confident about...

I've applied under the CEC class as a graduate. HOwever, saw my credit card statement today and it had a charge for "IMMIGRATION CANADA FSW SYDNEY NS" Obviously, my application package clearly states CEC, but should I be concerned???? Is it acceptable to write clarifying comments on a photocopy, as long the comments aren't written on the part that is copied? 2011 Notice of Assessment

I'll be applying next week. I have my 2010 T4 and NOA. I will likely get my 2011 T4 next week or end of this week. I was thinking of including the 2011 T4 with my application as it would be for the most recent year. Could including the T4 for 2011 without the NOA for 2011 actually delay my...

    format of translation: more confusion

So, nowhere on the guide does it say what the translation of a document not written in English should look like. I Googled, and found a site (likely US immigration) that states that the translated document must resemble the format/appearance of the original document. It should included dashes...

    translating..complicated question..sir jes_ON, or sir PMM?

On the document checklist, it asks to send copies of your national ID. I assume this is a national ID card, and is separate from a birth certificate. I have a card, but it's in Urdu. So I have to have it translated and get it certified. One of the requirement is that the person certifying it...

I noticed that under the education sectoin, it asks the type of diploma/certificate awarded. I find this very vague. Is there a standard list of responses or can I write "bachelor of arts"????? I feel that given how quick they are to return applications, there must be a list with standard...

What date do you put on in the "To" field where it asks you your current country of residence ("From..To)? lawyer not responding

So, I had some issues to sort out before submitting my application under CEC. Went to see a lawyer who works for a reputable law firm. We had an initial consultation and he told me I shouldn't worry about my case; it'll be fine. He didn't charge me anything, and actually wanted to know if he...
