Go to your local police station in the UK, they will help you in some capacity. Either do it there, or they will direct you to where you need to go.

Right, it took us 8 weeks to get our FBl certificate.

Yes, we copied everything. It is still very disappointing that we have to wait another 8 weeks at the very least.

Thanks for your reply and I am sure we will have to do that, but our first FBl check took 7 weeks to get, and immigration said they need to hear from us within 2 months. Or, can we contact the FBl and they will just resubmit one to us without reinvestigating?

Help, immigration said we did not include the FBl form. We are sure we did. Also, we need to get UK police checks for my husband's 2 sons who are dependents but not coming with him. That was an error on our part. Question...once we send in the additional police checks will our file go to the...

Are you saying that once the sponsor is approved we can assume that we sent in a complete application package?

Waiting is difficult no matter what stage you are at. I was approved in Dec., medicals received in London for my husband early January, and no change since then.

Right, it is the not being able to plan that is a bit frustrating, I think the wait would be easier to take if we knew when our partners would get their COPR. In our minds we are aiming for March. I hope we won't be disappointed.
