Dears, Thanks for your replies and advice.. here's what happened to me, so anyone faces that situation i think could do the same; i went in person to the embassy with our passports and CPR forms and explained the issue to them and informed them that it's an urgent case because i need to travel...

I heard that using URGENT in the e-mail subject or on the envelop in case u sent them regular mails, makes the reply very quick.. make a try..

the embassy was already closed on the 28th, send them an e-mail, mark it with URGENT in the subject, request your passport in order to travel to Egypt and go back to USA, reschedule your interview in a convenient time... seems they don't realize the situation, they actually don't pay any efforts...

Dear seniors, I received my PR visa and CORP but we have a spelling mistake my son's first name "a missing letter". I don’t know what should I do, should I contact the visa office and return the passport and CORP for correction? Is so how long it takes for them to rectify and return the PP’s...

I don't think they allow in person queries, it would be more useful if u send them a case specific query, but in general u r within the normal processing time "14 months", so even the case specific query might not get answered.

your correct, but at least it can help us figure out if we r within the normal range or something extraordinary is going on.. why don't u share yours? u will lose nothing..

if you sent it in personal with anyone comming to egypt it will work without any problem, if u ordered it the customs will not allow it to get in the country.. thousands of people are usung it here in Egypt..
