finally have the canadian immigrant visa. :) I went to the LA office personally, little tiring to travel and somewhat more expensive but finally done. Surprisingly quiet at the LA office as compared to Buffalo!

Spartan, I think you can go to any bank and tell them you would like to purchase a money order/bank draft. They probably charge you 5 dollars for it or something...

Hey Spartan, I received my medicals on Dec 6th, not sure what the date was on the letter, but I received the forms in the mail on the 6th, did my medicals on Dec 12th and they received them in Ottawa on Dec 19th, hope this helps. I think out transfer to LA office dates are the same so you...

I received my medical request letter today, my file was transferred to LA October 14th 2011...filed Jan 19 2010 and reveiwed in Buffalo March 3rd 2010. What are the steps after the medical is done and what is the timeline for the same? Does anyone have any idea? Please let me know...

I inquired about the new braunfels office, the TX med clinic is not going to be a center after a month or so they told me on the phone and they said walk in was okay...good luck and congratulations!!

If your occupation is not on the list you could apply if you have a job offer or move to Canada on a student visa and then apply from Canada itself...
