Hi all,
Question for the "Scarborough applications".
Once the LPP is completed, how long it will take to receive the Oath invitation?
Also, how many days after the oath invitation the ceremony will take place?
Thank you!
Hi,
No, they didn't send any email.
I applied on December 20, 2022. If you consider the Xmas holidays, the entire process took less than two months.
I believe you should receive your PR card next month.
Good luck
My PR was delivered on Feb 20.
The "photo missing" warning disappeared after a couple of weeks.
I didn't resubmit the application. Everything went well and it took, ,more or less, 2 months for the card to arrive.
Hi all,
this morning the "Photo are missing" warning disappeared!
I believe it's a glitch/bug in their software.
Hopefully I will get my card soon!
Good luck
Hi guys,
I have the same issue!
PR Renewal (no urgent) submitted on Dec 29.
Return reason: Photos are missing
Action: View button is greyed out
I didn't receive any e-mail from IRCC
Btw, my pictures were "perfect", they were taken at Staples.
Do you think I should reapply?
Thanks

Hi all,
I hope that somebody can answer to my questions/doubts :-[
1st Question:
on April I obtained the status of Permanent Resident, I activated my Confirmation of Permanent Resident at the Toronto Airport border.
The VO has stapled the copy of the COPR on a passport page.
Please note that...
Absolutely not!
You can't work without the PR.
Go to the cic page and follow the instructions for the spouse class sponsorship application.
Good luck :)
I did the landing exactly one month ago (Toronto airport).
I spent only 10 days in Canada (at the border I declare that I wanted to activate my PR and I had planned to stay in Canada for only 10 days).
The procedure was been, more or less, the same that it is explained in this thread, the only...
aHAHHAHAA you right!!!
But you know...after 24 months to obtain the PR I'm little bit scarred about bureaucracy and processing time :-)..I'd like to avoid any other applications until the citizenship :)
Thank you :)
Hi again :-)
thank you for the responses at my questions.
I have finally received my COPR :-), and because I'm a little bit paranoid :-), I searched on google what happen If I loose the COPR!
OMG I read that it would a disaster...confirm? It must apply for the a Verification of Status and wait...
Thank you very much for your response :)
Just another info about your 3rd response.
When I will bring my personal stuff (the time after landing) what I have to declare to the boarder about my personal stuff?
During the landing I count to bring some gifts (puppets, candy, jam, ecc) and also...
Hello qorax,
thank you very much for your useful and up-dated information.
I'd like to ask you an advise.
My Visa (under spouse class) is ready (it expires in Jan 2014) and, many months ago, I booked a fly to visit my wife in April.
The problem is that at the moment I can't relocate in Canada...
