As I understand it... having a successful PNP nomination also provides support documentation to extend your work permit while you wait for PR processing. My question is - does that paperwork come automatically when you are nominated, or is there another application on the side that is required...

Yeah, mine is with a spouse. I'm still waiting for AOR. I suppose that could be a reason for a delay... but I'd be surprised.
