Yesterday I got a request to send translation of my police certificate. It was no problem for SINP to decipher the two words so why does CIC need a translation? Damn me for not thinking that that might happen. Does anyone know where to get an accepted translation in Regina?

SINP requires provincial forms and a copy of federal forms. Yes you have to send the copy of federal forms by mail. They will check them and when you get your nomination they will tell you what you may have to change on your federal forms. You then sign the federal forms again with the new date...

Yes it is the AOR everyone talks about. Its different from case to case. It took 2 or 3 days before I got my medical request but I know of people who are waiting 1 month or longer. One factor appears to be where you applying from, inside or outside canada.

You can apply without LMO if you have IEC. I did the same. I applied as skilled worker with offer of employment (in Noc B I think) and it took about 11 months to get the nomination. The LMO is necessary when you apply under skilled worker with work permit (that's supposed to be faster).

When did you get your UCI? It always takes a bit before the information shows up on ecas. I think it took about two weeks for mine to show up. After over a month that they received my medical it still doesn't show that they received it. ecas is being updated once a week and is not up to date.

Wow they're quick in your case. My medicals were done Dec 06 and according to the receptionist at the office sent on Dec 17th, and still there is no update on ecas. I guess it's just going to be another nightmare wait for me as it was with SINP.

It means the billing address. When your credit card is being charged they check if the address connected to your credit card is the same as the one you wrote on your form; its some kind of security I guess.

At least on my MR they wrote that the processing time stated (10 months) will start at the time they send the MR. Check your MR again for that note.
