    Thanks for your reply. If the category does not match, they do send refusal letter. One of my cousin got that email after submission of about one month and got money back in next month.

    I sent my application on Aug 11 and received by D. Stevenson on Aug 17. Till then no email from CIC. I check with my bank and they assured that my BD not encashed yet. What are the possibilities? I heard that the refusals are informed right away, within 6 weeks, is it true?
