This is tricky. Did you send the copy of old passport with your application. If no then you might not need the translations. If I were you, I wouldnt get the translations done unless the officer asks me to.

She asked for translation of all the stamps that are in the passports that fall in the eligibility period. The citizenship officer needs to see them to verify the time you spent outside. Based on my experience and my brother-in-law, they check your passport stamps and ask for translation if they are completely in another language.

I did not submit the translation with the application. They will have your complete file. If you have already submitted them you probably wont need them again.

Dubai stamps have both arabic and english on their stamps. You dont need translation for them. I think the only stamps in middle east that requires translation is from Saudi Arabia as they are completely in arabic with Hijri calendar dates.

I will suggest you to apply for an open work permit by December. It takes around 2 months for the process. My post graduate work permit expired 16-Aug but I already got an open work permit for a year.

I applied to Buffalo Office on 25-Jan-2010. Got MR on 28-Jun-2013 and did my medical on 23-July-2013. Now waiting for PPR. I have the same visa officer so do let me know if you get any updates.

Well I applied in January 2010 and havent even received the medicals yet. My online status shows that the processing was started on 26th October 2011 but no correspondence yet.
