thanks, i was hoping for more specific dates but i guess this will do. it seems that they took the decision within 2 months of ppr+remed requested dates. in my case it was june 13, hopefully by mid aug i will hear something good Inshallah

send both of your job letters with bank statements each showing their funds. 1 million is enough for you. Probably write a small letter explaining that both of you are independent and you dont need each other's funds to live on.

if i were u i would send the following: job letter bank statement of showing your funds (should be signed by someone at the bank)--as far as the amount of fund goes, the more the better... proof that you had sent money to your spouse for the past few months or so i think it should be enough

i got the reply on june 16 that they had sent the ppr + remed on june 13 and i received it on june 25. it was through pak post and a very old man had delivered.

my wife has done her remed on june 27 and submitted the passport on the same day, they still haven't changed the ecas status, is it a matter of concern? how long before they change the ecas status? any ideas? medical results have been sent to delhi on july 2nd. thanks
