    Thanks! I got notified by regular mail. Because I'm from a visa exempt country, I didn't get a Passport Request (PPR), but I immediately got Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). May your PR timeline be as quick as mine!

    I have been staying with my husband in Canada as a visitor while we applied for my PR. You just have to make sure you keep your visitor's status valid. I received the good news today: my application was finalized and I will be landing as a Permanent Resident in 2 days!

    My total timeline: 3 months, 4 weeks, 2 days, from the moment I submitted the application to the moment I had my COPR in hand! Most of that time was spent in Mississauga for sponsorship approval. Crazy! ;D
