Hope everyone is doing well. Congrats to those who got their ppr in past weeks. just wanted to let you know that a good friend of mine got ppr for his wife 3 days ago (after 10 months). So Ankara is still at it pretty hard, so hang in there, and keep your hopes high. all the best.

Re: Landing procedure! thanks a lot Arezuo this is very helpful and detail information. If I am not mistaken, Customs declaration card is a simple (one-pager) card, that they hand out in flight (when landing in Canada) and everyone (canadians/permanent resident/vistors included) is required...

Ours was updated this morning too, and we got the PPR. (ours says "We started processing ... application on May 2, 2012." So I am guessing your must be done too.

Ours has changed to "Medical results have been received", as well (I am guessing the change occurred around last week). Doesn't state it's "in process" though.

wow, so is this saying that if the applicant submits in-person; they could potentially give them the password the next business day! This would be great; I know it probably costs a lot of extra money, but I'd personally would rather pay this cost than wait for another 4-6 weeks. Thanks again Sohrab.

What does your PPR say? Does it say to send the password to Tehran or Ankara? If it says Canadian 'Embassy' in Tehran (since Embassy is still open) then chances are, you could still send it to Tehran. You probably have tried, but any luck calling Ankara directly, and asking them about the...
