I have a question about the insurance. I have a US insurance and I will be importing the vehicle to Canada. Should I arrange for a Canadian Car Insurance before I cross the border, or my US insurance will still be valid?

In this scenario when we land with an intent of returning to US, we normally will not be carrying all the funds that we mentioned in the application form. Will it be ok if we show our bank statement and 401k statement and things like that, rather than carrying the funds in travellers cheques...

Dont worry about it.. Do it the third time..Even if it is not good enough, they will do a name check and give the clearance. The same thing happened to my wife.

The UPS box option sounds like a real deal for people who want to make the landing and return to US or wherever they are from. Are there anyone who has actually used this option.

I hope you are not a doctor!!! There are hundreds of reasons for not having clear fingerprints! At least in US, one of those reasons is not because of dishwasher, washer/dryer.. Even the really bad apartments do have dishwashers..

Finger Prints needs to be submitted to the background clearance department in UK (information is there in CIC website).. Once you obtain the clearance, the document you receive needs to be attached to your CIC application
