I applied in Sept 2012, got an RQ almost right away (we travelled quite a bit) - wrote the test almost two months ago, got my citizenship last week :)

Mine showed the test date but doesn't show the oath yet, even though I've got an invitation 2 weeks ago. I would definitely get someone to check your mailbox while you're away.

I went on numerous vacations after applying for citizenship and everything was fine. You're not doing anything wrong as long as you're maintaining residency requirements, so don't worry and enjoy your holidays.

Luckily I have already got an invitation, the oath is next week so it won't overlap with my trip. Only 5 weeks between the test and the actual oath, I am impressed!

I applied for a PR Card renewal - I mailed it via registered mail so I know they got it 2 weeks ago and it still doesn't show anything when I try to check my application's status online. Is this normal or should I start calling them? Thanks!
