Wanted to let you guys know that I had my landing interview this morning, and I'm done! At the interview, the lady just asked me if I've been convicted of anything, asked if some basic information was correct (height, name, etc whatever was on the info sheet), and asked for my I.D. and photo...

My interview letter came with requirements of bringing ID and extra photos to the interview. Maybe they're just going about it a different way?

The appointment is on May 24th.

Interesting, considering I got my DM a couple weeks ago. Maybe they just decided to give us a landing interview in retrospect. The DM said we were supposed to expect a call, but I guess they sent mail instead.

Would it say specifically that it is a landing interview? "I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:..... Hamilton" I have not ordered a GCMS note and have never heard of it before...

I received my OWP May 2nd, but it was issued/signed April 26th, according to the permit. Which ever date you would like to use. :)
