Just wanted to share the good news that my wife arrived on July 17th 2012. It was almost 6 months we had to wait which is loads better then the 14 months they estimated. Wishing everyone lots of luck in the fastest possible processing times.

It's 68 days for the sponsor approval and thats the same for everyone, no matter where you are filing. You will get two emails close to then, one giving you a UIN or File number, the other one should inform you that you are approved as a sponsor. On the letter they sent me it then stated it was...

I had lawyers quote me $5000 too! Seems too much when they just ask you all the same questions anyways. Well good luck to us Octoberians. Hopefully we'll get approved as sponsors sooner then the posted 68 days:)
