Thanks ;) I tried the tracker, and that made me e-mail London right away. That thing says, my documents are in Australia ????? That's not what I needed to hear, but I hope the tracker is messed up, and it has been delivered to London after all. We'll see if London will reply. Dancanman.

Hi guys. So...I finally got the letter from London, telling me my application is in the final stage. A decision has been made. They asked for copies of my passport (all pages), an addressed return envelope, my updated information, and more pictures. I take this as a very good sign (practically...

I'm gonna go with Victor here. I put my Canadian addy, and did not put any addy for my homecountry, since there won't be any correspondence there. I think they like it simple, and I know I do....no need to put anything that could confuse them ;)

Thanks Kedeisha. You know how it is, gathering all the needed documents, and I had a translation of documents take a little longer than expected, so everything was delayed a couple of weeks. But we're rolling now ;)

My wife and I mailed our applications on October 1st, and they were succesfully delivered on October 4th, so the waiting game has started. Ready to send applications, BUT...

That definitly sounds like the way to go Pinklady. Thank you ;) Seems like that would save me the open work permit as well, since the processing time for that could be the same, or even longer than PR.

    Ready to send applications, BUT...

@ Pinklady You mean I can have my visitor status extended based on my outland PR application, if I choose to do it like that As I understand it, since my wife will be my sponsor, she has to send everything to Alberta, and they will forward it to London, after she has been approved as sponsor...
