Thanks ;) I tried the tracker, and that made me e-mail London right away. That thing says, my documents are in Australia ????? That's not what I needed to hear, but I hope the tracker is messed up, and it has been delivered to London after all. We'll see if London will reply. Dancanman.

They recieved my application on oct 5th, and I heard nothing until december 14th,where we got an e-mail confirming that they got it. Same day as they snail mailed the decision/approval of sponsorship. So a little more patience, and it'll come ;)

I too got e-mail last week, that they recieved my application on oct 5th, which I thought was strange. Got a letter yesterday, with approval of sponsorship. Maybe it's a new thing they do, who knows ?

Thanks Kedeisha. You know how it is, gathering all the needed documents, and I had a translation of documents take a little longer than expected, so everything was delayed a couple of weeks. But we're rolling now ;)

My wife and I mailed our applications on October 1st, and they were succesfully delivered on October 4th, so the waiting game has started. At the same time, I applied to have my visitor status extended, so that I can stay in Canada, while my pr application is processed in London. I was supposed...

Thanks guys. I already have my police certificate. I got that before I came here, and it still has a month and a half. I believe the 3 months on that, is the date they revieve the application with the police cert, right ? Looks like everything is comming together now ;)

Count me in for September as well. I'm in BC, and gonna do outland from here...London offfice, after they approve my wife as sponsor.

That definitly sounds like the way to go Pinklady. Thank you ;) Seems like that would save me the open work permit as well, since the processing time for that could be the same, or even longer than PR.

@ Pinklady You mean I can have my visitor status extended based on my outland PR application, if I choose to do it like that As I understand it, since my wife will be my sponsor, she has to send everything to Alberta, and they will forward it to London, after she has been approved as sponsor...
