Based on out experience, and generally what I have read here over the months, you should have a decision soon. It seems that once the passport has been requested this is looking like you will have visa. In out case our app was received Aug 22, sponsorship approved in Nov. and interview in Feb...

My wife received a phone call from Visa office, has an interview Feb 15, the only thing they asked her to bring were passport and 'proof of communication'. We are assuming that since our app was made in August, they want proof of continued communication? It is hard not to be insulted by this...

Filed app August 22nd 2011, Sponsor approval Nov.08 2011. Sent email to the VO, they say fikes not transferred to VO overseas as of today, 37 days. is this unusual? Any one else have this length of file transfer? What a bummer. :(
