If passport was requested then visa was approved. Right? That’s why they requested the passport. You should get the courier in a day with thr passport with thr visa stamped.

Hi, I personally don't think it matters. But just to be on the safe side, I created and email address and a GCKey corresponding to that email address, both in my mom's name when preparing and submitting the application for Visit Visa on her behalf. And yes, it got approved.

AbuRaadiya: They both were submitted with the same set of documents for the most part. As for as Financial Support documents were concerned, they were only asked for the Primary applicant (Mom) and hence I provided the same for Mom. Financial Support docs weren't asked for the co-Applicant (Dad).
