My passport has to be renewed/changed now as I cannot travel on it anymore, new passports has been issued for my country. ( I have not travelled for 2.5 years since in Canada) Do I have to send this new passport information (numbers) to Immigration Canada once it has been changed. My PR card...

What is the general timeline for PR Card is it really 8-12 weeks...?

I am wondering if I can ta ke my ticket to my interview and explain to my immigration officer that I have a ticket to leave on vacation in 3 weeks. Will this help me in receiving my card sooner..

Tks Red, Baloo, do you think I can bring my ticket with me, it's in 3 weeks. I would have to change my flight and I am not sure if it's refundable, pretty silly of me to buy it and not know the timelines.

Red Alert I got my SIN card since april but they told me in letter to bring it along and I will get a new number, I have my RAMQ card in beginning of July... So I guess I will have to wait for my PR card... Can you travel on COPR document.... Anyways all is moving so I happy, we are...

I guess I should return my paid ticket for a later date, I was told you can get PR card faster if you where planning to travel soon just indicate it on your application for 1st card. Disappointment thought I was going to see parents sooner. Anyways still happy... 23rd is in 5 days... ;D ;) :)...

After landing interview is done, do I have to order card or is it done by CIC?

I have a huge party planned... I am happy. We just might pass each other. Mmmh okay, oh I did not know it was. I ordered all documents as per CIC website---Supplementary form, because you have to pay to get PR card and send copy of COPR. Check it out maybe I am wrong. Maybe I am completey wrong.p
