I don't understand why they are requesting passport for some also. They are not suppose to. My husband already sent his copy in and they asked for it again. ???

Thanks for answering. It's only half the address too, just the city and province. Shouldn't it have the entire mailing address? And why is it the sponsors? I'm worried that his COPR will be mailed and lost ... the address showing on his ECAS is not even complete.

How long after ECAS shows "DECISION MADE" (approximately) do you see a VISA or COPR? We're dying here! Decision made was shown on ECAS early Monday morning... Also, on his ECAS it shows my address in Canada... not his. Will that be a problem? Shouldn't it show where he's living.. now?

OMG! What a mess! I hope it gets cleared up quickly for you. Please keep us posted as my husbands VO is Berlin as well and will be going through the exact same thing. He is currently waiting on the COPR.

How did he get into Canada without a passport? I thought you needed to have one to cross the border now. Perhaps that's something he should get before you start the process... ?

I am happy to see ECAS change to IN PROCESS. I hope this process is quickly done.... I can't wait to see my husband again!

I did withdraw some and I still have some invested. Neither is considered to be income, regardless. I was hoping it was too but they both said no.

I'm not a champion member but I do know that RRSP's are not considered an income. I wondered the same thing and had contacted CIC about it and Revenue Canada. They both said no.

Is there somewhere an example of this? The format of a CV they are requesting.

You can apply for a seperate ARC but it will cancel out your application for PR and the process will take a year for an answer. You will be over your ban by then. Your best bet is to apply through regular family class where the ARC will be dealt with within your application. This is your only...
