CIC guys are literally crazy guys... I had paid twice the landing fees to CIC and when i called them they said that i haven't paid the landing fees and then i told them that i had paid twice and they said yeah they can see the payment has been made.. Ur best bet would be to fax them CPC...

Does anybody knows how much time it takes for an MP to get the status of the file from CIC? I had contacted my MP to inquire about my spouse's immigration case on Aug 24th and still i haven't heard anything back from them.

I have paid twice because of my stupid consultant mistake.. The first time i paid was when i had applied for processing of my spouse's case .. The second time my consultant even didn't bothered to tell me that i have already paid the landing fees so i paid again...

I have already faxed CPC - Mississauga confirming the payment.. I will ask my spouse to do the same to CHC -ND... It will be really funny if that is the reason they are delaying my case because i have already paid them twice and still they are still saying they haven't received the landing fees..

Don't worry vicky it will be there with you in a day or 2.. It doesn't make any difference if you have received passport request by a letter of by phone..
