I know how ridiculous the whole process for paper based applicants is. Some Nov applicants got through before Christmas while some are still waiting at mid March.... No one should ever under any circumstances apply paper based pnp application in presence of the EE stream....period!

Nov 30th applicant, no update after BG check flipped on Jan 17. Due date on GCMS notes was March 1st but nothing happened. Called IRCC today and they refused to give an update saying I had not hit the 16 months mark yet.

Same, November 30 applicant here with no DM or PPR. My background check is showing in progress since Jan 17 on myCIC.

IRCC slept again on paper based applications. Hope they wake up before the new month starts.....

Why are you thinking about EE at this point? We're almost done. Just one or maximum 2 more months while it will take at least 6 months to get PR through EE in an ideal situation.

I know most of us are losing it. The fact is 2 of my friends got it through EE in 7 and 8 month each and this includes time spent at PNP stage. I feel i am too dumb to go with the paper based application. I started my application (PNP stage) on January 22nd 2015 and it has been more than 2 years...

Took exactly 2.5 months for me but it differs from case to case.

Takes at least a month or more to send PPR after the status change in my opinion.
