I don't understand why people in this forum are so pessimistic. Charging is not done by the CIC so they transfer the CC/BD to charge and that may take up to a month since the receiver general has other things to do.

According to what I read it this forum, there is no indication that the CIC has a huge backlog of application. Also there is no indication that they handle the request on first come first served basis, I have a feeling that the order is somewhat random. So I am more optimistic then many members...
