Really disappointed to hear that the Berlin visa office is now closed and that our files are being transferred to Vienna. This will definitely create longer processing times! I also found out on the website and my MP's office had no clue. They simply said we haven't heard back from Berlin yet...

Hi Everyone, I'm from the Berlin thread - all Berlin files have been transferred to Vienna as of April 30, 2012 :o I'm assuming our applications will now take longer to be processed.

The wait has been way too long! I have made over 6 trips during this waiting period. Hopefully we get a request for a new medical soon which will give us indication that the background checks are done.

He has resided in a different country which is probably why its taking longer :(. Hopefully anytime now - its September.

Hey Waikiki, I applied January end - approved as sponsor feb end and file was sent immediately after in a few days early March. 3 to 6 months is what i'm hoping for. Are you also applying through Berlin? What's your timeline?
