Hi i had the same situation when i applied i would just put study permit till 5th March 2015 and then work permit starting from 5th March to avoid any gaps in between. I took it as you can only have on status once you get the work permit the study permit then becomes null..

Got a response from IRCC via contacting the MP ""The office is still booking files from April/May 2018".. they been saying this for past 3 months to me though... idk how big this backlog is

Tbh it doesn't really make sense to me some people on this forum had file transferred after me from Mississauga to Scarborough already had test... I also see they are giving oath letters for next day to clear backlog hopefully we get the same treatment but if someone applied earlier should get...

Called IRCC this morning to see if there is any update from Scarborough office since my application was moved there from Mississauga, was told to wait nothing else, the backlog is way too much at Mississauga office and even Scarborough is backlogged...Also the contact support person kept saying...
