    I never received mine. I was told by the CIC officer that it did not matter. You can download the study guide which they send you with the letter online.

    Oath is not on the same day. I took the test on 12 June in Saskatoon which I passed and was told that I could expect to take the oath around mid-August. I am still waiting. I am hoping that I do not have to wait until Prince George of Cambridge becomes King.

    hi rajesh: i applied from saskatoon in august 2011 and my file went into processing only in november 2012. as of today it is more than 17 months since i applied. however, someone else i know who applied from here received a notification to take the test within eight months of applying.

    Thank you for your reply. Surely they can send an acknowledgement letter. Why would it take them more a year to respond? Especially when the status online shows that the application has been received. The CIC moves in mysterious ways.

    I have yet to receive the acknowledgement letter for my application which was sent on 01 August 2011. My account on the CIC website shows that the application was received. I also have a copy of the registered mail receipt indicating that the application was received. Is such a long delay normal?
