Hey folks, I have an update. My hubby got his passport back with visa in it a few days back. He will be flying from new delhi and landing in toronto on 25th Nov. If folks that landed as PR immigrant recently at toronto from delhi could share their experience, that would be great. please write...

your point is valid. but still dont forget not everyone that has their file at new dheli is on a forum like this. they have many more files to process and ur file as of now is just 4 months old. give them 2 more months. you'll get ur visa before that, i believe.

just checked ur time line. pretty close to mine - my file reached new dehli on may 26 and still waitign for passport request. i asked and they said after everythng is done. did u ask them when they're sending ur PPR? do share when u get a PPR. ok.

their response to me asks to wait 6 months from the day my file reached their office. there is more or less a week or two's difference between approval and arrival at delhi. not a big difference. but still, i m going to send them this link, right now.

your file reached New delhi on April 11 and it will be 6 months on October 11 and you dont have ur visa yet. Thats so painful. :o

ya 6 months are counted from the day your file landed new delhi. they told me.

@Mir you've got some sense of humor. did u properly count up to 76. if i was a professor, i would take u as my masters student. you would do amazing work at data collection at a lab. :P

Still waiting for PPR. No update since June 27. June 27: Started Processing (with medicals).

Thanks for sharing. From experiences like yours, one very important message we need to convey to lads and ladies that apply now onwards is that we got to keep sending them case specific enquiry, fax and any and every thing it takes.

@ gwalyat, i am thinking the same way. But honestly, when the passport is already with CIC office, it feels like there is just one more step. But, when they send PPR late, it comes into mind that there is still 2 steps. :-X

even though there is quite a few dudes waiting here, i know some dudes (outside this forum) have recently got their cases completed in 4 months from application at missasagua. wat do u say, my nigggaahz? raise ur hand if u know anyone who got his/her case done within 3-4 months lately?

hey ali, i am hopeful passport requests are coming soon. i am sure they would also have been instructed to try decide assigned files within 6 month.
