I have seen some January, March and June applicants whom received similar doc request, already got their PPR. I think our waiting time shouldn't be more than 2 years. Hopefully, we will also hear something within the next few months.

Gloryintoronto, have you been asked to provide your resume and name of supervisor? I believe we have been "randomly" chosen for security screening. It shouldn't take more than an extra 6 months delay.

I applied Aug 28. Yes done with medical and everything. background changed to IP late October.Mine is still under PS.

August 28th here... No DM or PPR! I just received my notes: There is no group name on the first page. On the security page, I have S.15 (1) on the top right corner. I assume security should be passed. Location: PS Assigned to:BB01127

I agree! Larger families and more dependents have better chances of getting PPR earlier than single applicants!

Saeidrr, Within a week I got a confirmation email for the reception of the documents. My background check is still "not needed". I agree with you. We have already sent all this info to Ontario Gov. but it looks like the federal folks don't talk much with their provincial colleagues. Hopefully...

I got that request 2 weeks ago. I think it's part of security check for some applications... One of my friends who applied for a US visa recently got a request to submit his resume... So I think it's a security thing.

Yes! and I ordered gcms note recently and I got everything passed, and security not started.

I got mine last week. It is exactly similar to yours. I guess it's probably an alias for an officer.
