newcomer, you are right, i think completing bckground checks was the issue as i've lived/worked/was educated in several different countries since the age of 18 and that is why it took so long.

toca, it is possible. my medical/visa is expiring end of july and they sent me ppr beginning of june asking me if i was willing to land before my visa expires. i think they do watch the cases with soon to expire medicals and then contact applicants accordingly. just be positive and get ready. do...
