    Hi, thanks for replying. No, I never travelled to the US. I did give a police certificate but my background has been clear since May. From all the info online it seems LPP is v quick and seamless once BG is done .To add to the confusion, the agents invariably tell you that it hasn't started.

    Thanks for your reply. This is exactly what's so puzzling..My AOR was 6th may, background completed on tracker on 13th May. The LPP has been in progress since 23rd June...I called IRCC only to be told my criminality cleared on 9th September !..I was shocked as I've never once read about that...

I called IRCC ,the agent said my criminality cleared in September which is weird because the tracker showed the background as complete in May! About the security part she has no idea !     Applied 3rd April , AOR 9th May. Background completed 13th May , test passed .the LPP is stuck since 25th june..no updates ever..are any more folks in the same boat? I think calling them or raising webforms is not going to help because it really doesn't speed up anything. Any advice , please
