Hi Guys Did anyone have any issues at immigration the first time they entered Canada after the PR was granted? Do you go in the Canadian queue or the Non Canadian one? Also did you get questioned about anything or asked to present anything other than your passport? Im going to Canada next week...

Hey Actually we havnt had it requested yet, but we are just preparing ourselves for when it happens. Is it pretty standard that they ask for it to be posted; or has anyone ever taken it directly to the embassy. Thanks

Hello good people of the Canadian immigration forum. When your passport is requested, can you only post your passport to the embassy, or can you take it directly there and drop it in? Cheers Everybody!

Is it worth sending another one after a few days? It did say 28 days but we got no confirmation to say we'd sent an enquiry. Not sure if it does that though.. Thanks for the responses

Hi Was wondering.. does the office only ever correspond through letters or e-mails? I had a phone call yesterday (which I missed, hence the username!) but my application has only been at the London office for 2 months so thinking its a bit soon for action to have been taken..

Thanks for the suggestions! We sent a CSE yesterday outlining what happened. Apparently it could take 28 days to get a response through this :( we're just hoping theyll call back or atleast email!
